practice in the industry. More than four decades later, that commitment has only deepened, and it now shapes every stage of Ovation’s design, construction, and operation of its communities across the Las Vegas Valley.
LEED, Green Globes, and GreenPoint Certified Apartments in Las Vegas
Ovation’s approach to sustainability is validated by third-party certifications across its portfolio. There are currently 4 LEED-certified, 7 Green Globes-certified, and 2 GreenPoint-certified communities in the Ovation portfolio. LEED-certified communities include Tempo Phase 1 (Gold), Ensemble Phase 1 (Platinum), Ensemble Phase 2 (Gold), and Heirloom at Rome (Gold). GreenPoint Rated communities include Aspire at Grand Canyon and Aspire at Echelon. Green Globes certifications span Aspire at Sunridge, Imagine, Radiance at Grand Canyon, Aspire Tropicana, Tivoli, Adiamo, and Venicia. These certifications reflect consistent standards applied throughout the development pipeline and a genuine organizational commitment to responsible building.
Nevada’s First Solar-Powered Apartment Community
Ovation has made a significant investment in solar energy across select communities, with 6,157 solar panels generating over 8.2 million kWh of power. Communities benefiting from this infrastructure include Positano in Henderson, Tesora in Spring Valley, Aspire at Tesora, Venicia, Heirloom at Rome, and Sunhaven. At Aspire at Redwood in Southwest Las Vegas, the first multifamily apartment community in Nevada to run primarily on solar energy, 70 to 90 percent of the community’s energy is produced on-site, and because power is included in resident rent, that investment translates directly into cost savings for the people who live there.
Green Apartment Living in Las Vegas: A Standard Worth Holding
In 2023, Ovation partnered with Gravity Climate to formalize its ability to measure, track, and act on its environmental impact, including Scope 3 embodied carbon emissions in construction, an area most developers have not yet begun to address. Ovation’s commitment to green construction extends beyond energy efficiency. Through efficient construction practices, recycling and reusing materials, and implementing proper waste management systems, Ovation actively works to divert construction and demolition waste from landfills on every new community it builds.
